Soft lentil dumplings with sweetened yogurt, papadi, saunth & mint chutneys.

  • Soak urad dal, grind to a fluffy batter; season lightly.
  • Deep-fry small vadas until golden; soak in warm water and squeeze gently.
  • Whisk yogurt with sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  • Plate vadas, pour sweet yogurt, add papadi; drizzle saunth and mint chutneys.
  • Finish with cumin powder, black salt, red chili; garnish with sev/pomegranate.
